The Wisconsin Entomological Society was founded in 1969, to promote the study of entomology in all of its branches, particularly in Wisconsin and surrounding states. This purpose is pursued by encouraging and facilitating the exchange of information, ideas, data and specimens between and among avocational and professional entomologists. Two meetings a year are usually held; the Annual Meeting in Autumn, a Spring Meeting, plus occasional summer field trips. Three newsletters are published per year. A Special Publications series has been initiated, and members are encouraged to consider the series for publication of checklists and articles of regional interest.

Membership is open to anyone sharing an interest in any aspect of entomology. Dues are $10.00 per calendar year. Please make checks payable to “Wisconsin Entomological Society” and send to the treasurer at the address appearing below.
